Julia Mendoza is driven by the success of her business. Since her husband passed away, her business By Design is her number one priority. When Julia is injured in an accident, Chris is straight by her side, offering the help she needs and their bond grows stronger. Over the months of her recovery, the chemistry between them escalates. Julia enjoys Chris’ carefree and sometimes risk taking nature but remains guarded. She is experiencing a whole new life of feeling safe and protected with a man. The passion between them far exceeds her expectations, when she had only ever been with her late husband.
Guilt plagues her and she makes irrational choices, struggling with the limitations she sets for herself.
