I love the idea of great books turning into great movies. I love reading and exploring literature but I love it when really awesome books turn into movies and do it well. Here is my list of favorite book to movies.
Twilight Series - except for New Moon (never liked the book or the movie)
Really hoping for a great option of Vampire Academy Series (excellent book, hope the movie is just as good)
True Blood (granted a TV series) still great reading and spunky TV to watch, though I was a bit put off in the last series.
Girl with the Dragon Tattoo - very intense, long winded book but still amazing as well as on screen, hard to watch some of those scenes.
Harry Potter! Yes I hated the last book but the last movie was pretty cool, great effects.
There is a long list of really great screenplays for some pretty awesome books.
The screenplay for my own Epic Saga, BaSatai: Outside In is currently under review by some big Production Companies - super excited. I must admit VISUALLY its so much fun creating my idea into a great screenplay.

Without a Doubt the screenplay adaptation for my award winning Romance novel Mad About the Boy is ready also. Getting positive feedback.
